Studio and Event Space Hire

The upper floor of imagex is a 1000sq.ft, full-size, 10ft ceiling height photo studio and versatile event space, available for hire between 7am-11pm for minimum two hours, half-day, per day or multiple days, during the week or weekends. Our Photo Studio is a showroom for Rotolight fixed LED lighting, and also has a wide range of props and accessories, furniture, flash & static lighting and stands, and many types, styles and colours of backdrops. Our Event Space has a stage with various visual & audio presentation systems.

Photo Studio Facilities

- Hi-glide overhead suspended light tracking - Extensive selection of Rotolight & Kenro continuous LED lighting and Elinchrom flash heads, with many modifiers available - Product photography table, reflectors - Furniture, seating and props - Range of plain & patterned backdrops including green screen - Kitchen area with constant boiling water, chiller & microwave - Fibre-speed internet over Wi-Fi or ethernet - Separate dressing / make-up room with Hollywood mirror - Studio can be fully isolated - Refreshments included - Available for two-hourly, half-day, day, evening, weekend and weekly hire - Discounts for repeat / regular bookings

Events Space Facilities

- Low stage area with choice of lecterns, large-screen high-definition Smart TV & PA Speaker System - Ceiling mounted high-definition bright data projector - 6ft Ceiling-mounted Projection Screen - Seating for up to 40 delegates in theatre style with optional side tables - Kitchen area with constant boiled water, chiller & microwave (refreshments included) - Separate breakout / AV Control / Green room - Hi-speed Wi-Fi and office document print / scan / copy services available - Available for hourly, half-day, day, evening, weekend and weekly hire - Discounts for repeat / regular bookings

Studio & Event Space Hire Charges

Per Day (8 hrs) 9am-6pm

£260 (Weekdays)

£340 (Saturdays)


Per Half Day (4 hrs) 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm

£130 (Weekdays)

£170 (Saturdays)

Per Two Hours (9am-6pm)

£70 (Weekdays)

£90 (Saturdays)

Additional Hours:

£40 ph (Weekdays)

£50 ph (Saturdays)


Studio hire is by appointment only and depends on availability.

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, with the remainder payable on the day


The studio is closed at 8pm sharp and on Sundays unless by prior arrangement


All prices include VAT


Please note: Your allocated studio hire time includes setup and breakdown of all equipment. You must be packed away and ready to vacate the studio at the time the hire expires and no later


Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes before your booking. Should you arrive late for your session, this time may not be added onto the hire time and you may be expected to leave at the agreed time
