The Panasonic Lumix S5D with 18-40mm lens is a full-frame hybrid mirrorless camera kit that achieves excellent performance in both video and photo as well as exceptional flexibility for videographers and photographers. It includes a 24.2-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor that boasts wide dynamic range and high sensitivity performance, and realises a maximum ISO 51200 of crystal-clear high sensitivity video with Dual Native ISO technology. It is now compatible with the DJI LiDAR Range Finder Module.

6.5-stop Dual I.S. 2
5-axis Dual I.S. 2 (Image Stabiliser) combines control of the Body I.S. and Lens O.I.S. to offer 6.5 stops worth of correction.

Video recording modes
Recording modes include 4K 60p/50p 4:2:0 10-bit and C4K/4K 30p/25p 4:2:2 10-bit — plus 4K 8-bit with no limitation of video recording time.

4:2:2 10-bit internal rec / HDMI output
In the 10-bit setting, 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI output is supported along with simultaneous external drive / SD card recording.

RAW video data output
The LUMIX S5D enables the output of maximum 29.97p 5.9K (5888x3312, 16:9), 59.94p 4.1K (4128x2176, 17:9) and 50.00p 3.5K (3536x2656, 4:3) 12-bit RAW video data over HDMI to save it as ProRes RAW on ATOMOS NINJA V HDR monitor-recorders. The Blackmagic RAW can also be recorded on Video Assist 12G HDR.

14+ stops of V-Log and V-Gamut VariCam look
V-Log and V-Gamut come preinstalled. With 14+ stops of dynamic range and a wide color spectrum, performance rivals that of a VariCam professional cinema camera.

Autofocus system featuring AI technology
Features high-speed (approx. 0.08 sec.), high-precision AF, and deep learning technology for recognition of human faces, eyes, heads, and bodies, as well as animals.

96MP high resolution mode
Photos can now be saved directly in the JPEG format for finely detailed, 96-megapixel-equivalent images characteristic of LUMIX.
