So here's the recipe for an imagex Canon 300D DSLR Photo Lamp
1 Take one otherwise dead classic Canon EOS 300D digital SLR camera body
2 Clean it and remove the sensor, shutter and mirror
3 Drill a hole from the mirror box through to the battery chamber big enough for a mains cable
4 Add a custom-made lamp-holder adapter which bayonets into the lens mount
5 Run a mains cable from this holder through the hole you drilled
6 Add a plug, a bulb (white or multicoloured), a mini tripod and the specially made lens barrel which screws neatly onto the lamp holder adapter
7 Plug in, switch on and enjoy
