Nikon SB-800 Speedlight Flashgun
|Availability:||In stock (1)|
The classic, high-power SB-800 flashgun works with every Nikon camera made for the past 40 years. Actually, it’s the only flash, along with the almost identical SB-600, that works properly with the D70 and the ground-breaking Nikon i-TTL flash exposure system. Announced in 2003, it was Nikon's best flash until the complex SB-900 arrived in 2008 and even up against that thing, it’s pretty hard to beat.
The SB-800 flash includes coloured filters to match tungsten and fluorescent light, which is super important for use indoors, as well as a reverse flash guide number mode for flash where you set the aperture and the flash sets the level automatically based on distance. If this sounds basically like the flashmatic modes of the 1950s but backwards, that’s because it is.
This one is in near mint condition, including original packaging, manuals, case and filters.
