Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8G ED lens

This 24-70/2.8 was Nikon's best and most expensive midrange zoom until the 24-70/2.8 VR came out in 2015. That said, it’s still a superb performer today and weighs and costs less than the newer VR version, lacking only VR (vibration reduction). Most people in the market for f/2.8 zooms tend to use them for sports and action, for which VR does nothing, which is why this lens remains so popular today. That, and the fact that it’s sharper than the subtlest of knives and outstrips every similar lens that came before it.

The 24-70mm is an irrefutably exquisite, fuss-free metal unit of a lens that just takes great pictures with no fiddling. It gets on with the job and doesn't grate on you all day shooting with it. Manual focus flicks with a light touch from one finger, a Nikon hallmark since the 1950s and AF lenses rarely feel this good for manual focus. This one is in fantastic cosmetic, mechanical and optical condition with just the one careful previous owner!

Comes with original packaging, soft case, hood, both caps and literature.
