When the previous company known as Jessops* announced they were closing for business in January 2013, the two managers of the Bicester branch knew that a great opportunity had presented itself.
Although that Jessops operation had owned the business for just six years, the Bicester branch had a twenty-year history as a camera & photographic services shop, and was consequently very well supported by many local regular customers.
So with some financial help from family, friends and a small number of local 'Business Angel' private investors, they set about taking possession of the store and reopening it as an independent operation once again
