What a shit hole! Surfers Paradise is full of high rise buildings, over crowded streets and a beach that is full of rubbish, old cans, bottles etc. The beach also has this thick brown foam all over it and in the sea which is sticky from the pollution. It looks really nice from the photos below and in all the brochures but don't be deceived. If you want to party it is good, but if you also enjoy the beach don't even bother stopping here. IMPORTANT NOTE :- Due to the high rises along the front, the sun sets at around 3pm over the beach! |
