Things To Do

I had to stop here for a few days due to the flooding from the off shore cyclone - I was lucky, some people had been stuck for 3 weeks.
The town is tiny and seems like about 80% aboriginals.
Its probably not a place you would stay for more than a day unless you were doing an organised tour leaving from here.
The National Park which is walking distance from town is pretty nice and is like a minature version of the Bungle Bungles National Park.

Average kind of place, however they do do a 3 day self guided canoeing trip for $145 which is an absolute bargain. Minimum of 2 people needed though.
