Much busier than the neighboring Koh Taratao, although still a very small quiet island compared to others in Thailand.
Snorkelling is pretty good and you can swim straight off the beach to the coral - saw loads of clown fish.
The beaches are fantastic and the people very friendly - although generally rather slow.
The island is also inhabited by quite a number of locals with a number of small villages and a school which are interseting to walk around and interact with the friendly locals.
Definatley worth a visit as there are much fewer tourists here due to Koh Lipe's location further down in the South of Thailand.

Not an overal very good place, but was the cheapest option.
The one person who could speak any english was fairly moody.
There was one very irritating gay bloke working there who would constantly call out my name all the time even though I and my mates had repetedley told him to 'F' off. If we had stayed for a few more days would probably have had to given a violent warning. Easily one of the most irritating person I have met on my travels.
One good thing about the place was George the dog who followed us around and 'kept guard' of our bungalow at night.
