Walking - Lake Matheson
|
Fairly easy walk around the lake. Great views across the lake with Mt Cook reflecting in it. Very peaceful, not touristy.

Glacier Walking
|
I thought it was amazing. Ashleigh didn't like it at all. We walked for about half an hour to get to the glacier and then put on crampons and our gude carved steps out of the ice so as we could get higher up the glacier. Was pretty good seeing the ice caves and massive crevices.
Ashleigh left the group half way through the day cos she was too nackered!
